CK Group are recruiting for 4-5 Analytical Chemists to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Barnard Castle on a contract basis for 12 months.

£14.00-£17.00 per hour PAYE DOE

Our client at Barnard Castle is a Global Manufacturing and Supply division and produces some of the world?s leading sterile, inhaled and tropical oral medicines. The site makes over 40 different products, exporting more than 90% of 200 million packs produced each year.

The site offers plenty of parking and fully functioning canteen for all staff. Set in the beautiful surroundings of this attractive working market town named after and built around a medieval castle.
Analytical Chemist Role:
- Perform analytical tests on pharmaceutical product using techniques such as HPLC
- Perform equipment performance checks/calibration
- Create, review and update laboratory documentation as required
- May write reports or technically review the content of reports
Your Background:
- BSc or HNC or equivalent would be preferred in a chemistry based subject
- GCSEs or equivalent including Maths, English and Chemistry
- Experience with analytical testing methods such as HPLC and GC would be an advantage
- Previous experience working in a GxP laboratory would be preferred but is not essential as fresh grads with a relevant subject will be considered
