CK Group are recruiting for a QC Analyst on behalf of a growing manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, to be based at their site in Sandwich on a permanent basis.
Joining the company in their state of the art facilities, you will support the Quality Assurance Department to ensure all aspects of manufacturing are performed in a controlled manner and meet the GMP requirements. This is a hands-on role where you will perform analytical testing as required and report accurate results.
The key responsibilities will be to:
- Perform physical and analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished product using techniques including HPLC and GC
- Ensure departmental adherence to GMP requirements.
- Recording of microbiological results within data packages as received.
- Ensure that laboratory housekeeping standards are maintained at all times and documented accurately.
- Writing up reports on QC activities.
- Undertake laboratory investigations and OOS reports when required.
- Responsible for planning own workload and completes tasks to deadlines as agreed with the QC Manager
To be considered for the position you should have the following:
- Relevant Bachelor of Science Degree (for example Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Forensics) or equivalent.
- Experience in QC testing of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) including HPLC or GC or both. Other wet chemistry techniques desirable
- GMP experience
