Measurement and Control Technician
Hourly rate is 55 Euros per hour for this role based in Belgium on a 12-month contract.

You are responsible for carrying out and supervising measurement and control engineering work and reviewing PLC software adjustments in energy, water, HVAC, environmental and prevention installations or production installations.
You will be investigating complex/process critical problems and proposing solutions.
Planning and monitor the works.
Developing proposals or solutions to improve safety, health, environment, quality, costs and energy consumption.
Ensure the continuity and optimization of the company infrastructure in a responsible manner in terms of safety, quality and the environment in accordance with the applicable GxP standards.
Ideally the Measurement and Control Technician will have a bachelor's degree in electro-mechanics or you have equivalent work experience in this field.
Someone who is fascinated by technology and have a creative mind that is constantly looking for improvements in a highly technological environment.
Take responsibility in a disciplined and results-oriented manner according to internal procedures, consistently report problems or deviations and take the initiative to resolve them.
Experience with the EHS² (Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability) rules/guidelines. Notion of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards is a plus.
Additional attributes:
An extensive technical multidisciplinary background and eager to learn.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Computer literate.
Fluent in Dutch and have a technical knowledge of English.
Practical knowledge of energy, water, HVAC, environment and prevention and production installations. Knowledge of the relationship between the various process components is an asset.
