Product Development Manager

Cranleigh STEM has partnered with a global leader who provides high-quality products for reptile care, ensuring the health and well-being of a variety of species. Their product range includes lighting, heating, food, supplements, and mobile applications.

We are looking for a product development manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Location: Haywards Heath.

The role…

You will play a key role in driving their product development initiatives from inception to market.

  • Developing comprehensive product development plans, outlining key milestones, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, graphic designers, web designers, and app programmers, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
  • Leveraging your strong project management skills to manage projects effectively, ensuring that they stay on track and are delivered within scope, time, and budget.
  • Using your proficiency in SolidWorks to create and review product designs, ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

What we are looking for…

Strong background in electrical or electronic engineering, proven project management experience and proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally in a product development setting.
  • SolidWorks or similar CAD software for creating and reviewing product designs.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
