Our client is a leading specialist pharmaceutical wholesaler. They have a unique opportunity for a QA Pharmacist to join the team. Training will be provided as well as the opportunity and funding to become an RP. To be considered you will either be a registered pharmacist or a QA/QC professional with a GDP background.
DUTIES
- Management of Quality Assurance processes & procedures
- Ensure compliance with GDP/Green Guide
- Conduct quarterly Quality Management Review
- Review and set KPIs for QMR
- Review and prepare SOPs
- Review and prepare Quality Technical Agreements
- Manage and conduct supplier bona fides and quality reviews
- Undertake supplier audits (paper and in-person)
- Manage Change Control process
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Manage Deviation and CAPA processes
- Manage and conduct customer bona fides checks
- Liaise with contract Responsible Person (RP)
- Undertake to become Aclardian's RP (training to be provided as/if required)
- Undertake GDP training for staff
- Manage interface with MHRA
- Respond to Medical Information and product quality enquiries from customers and suppliers
- Quality checking price lists, label production
EXPERIENCE/PROFILE REQUIRED:
- A pharmaceutical professional with the education and/or experience required to support/manage the QA processes and GDP compliance in a small, specialist pharmaceutical wholesaler.
- Desirably a pharmacist OR,
- Someone from a different technical background who has held responsibility for GDP/QA processes in a pharmaceutical company.
- Prepared to train, as required, to be named as the company's Responsible Person (RP). As well as being responsible for quality/GDP compliance
- Willing to 'muck in' with all the other general duties of pharmaceutical wholesaling; from taking orders to assembling orders.
Salary: £30K but could be more or less DOE
