An opportunity has arisen for an experienced scientist in a fast-growing chemical company based in the NW area.
This position would suit candidates who have previous experience in manufacturing of ink, pigments or similar products and also have good knowledge of regulatory and registration of chemicals used within healthcare or related sectors.
The successful candidate will be educated to BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Physics or related subject with several years’ experience in ink or pigments.
The applicant must have experience within manufacturing area also regulatory issues as well as many of the followings:
- Chemicals (all relevant regulations)
- Production (waste disposal, solvent/packaging data)
- Shipping/transportation (technical information on legislation issues to package/label
materials correctly)
-Health & Safety
This position will appeal to an individual who can work as part of a close team in a dynamic environment, but who is also able to work independently when required.
A confident, professional approach is required as is the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
The successful candidate will be well organised, adaptable and computer literate
