Our client is looking for a Senior Health Economist Consultant to act as the technical lead on projects and will provide strategic advice to clients. This is a pivotal role in my client’s team, reporting into the Head of HTA, they are achieving planned year on year growth, now is a very exciting time to join them.
Responsibilities:
•Research, data collection and referencing
•Model development & validation
•Provides direction & QC, proposes solutions as challenges arise
•Statistical analysis
•Technical reporting - QC and strategic advice
•Client communication & presentation
•Client strategy
•Project management - delivering projects within budget
•Blogs & webinars
•Line management with 1-2 direct reports
•Business development
•Contributes to and writes proposal and leads some pitch presentation
Requirements:
•Hands on in developing models and statistical methods for economic evaluation
•Knowledge of UK HTA process, requirements, and preferences
•MSc Economic Evaluation in Healthcare or equivalent
•3+ years’ hands-on modelling experience for a Senior Health Economist
•Experience of developing de novo model specifications, economic models, technical reports, and the economic sections of HTA submission
•Mentoring of junior staff on projects
•Proposal development
