CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician in Haltwhistle to join a chemical manufacturer that supplies speciality chemicals across the globe on a 6 month contract.
The main purpose of the role will be to carry out testing on the company's products and assist senior laboratory staff with research and development projects.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Performing general lab duties such as glassware, chemical and equipment maintenance.
- Working to company standards for health, safety, environment and quality.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Qualification in chemistry or related subject.
- High attention to detail.
- Good planning, organisational and analytical thinking skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a speciality chemicals company at their facility located in Haltwhistle. This is initially a 6 month contract to cover the company's busy seasonal period.
