Software Configuration Analyst - LIMS

About the role

As part of our growth, we’re looking for a motivated LIMS Configurator to join us as an integral member of our team.

You’ll work closely with our business analysts and internal teams, to drive the customization and configuration of our Achiever Medical LIMS system catering to the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will be central to optimizing lab workflows, data accuracy, and overall efficiency.

Within the role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand specific requirements and design tailored LIMS configurations.

  • Customize sample types, attributes, testing parameters, and workflow steps to align with our clients’ diverse laboratory processes.

  • Configure user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and regulatory compliance.

  • Design and create data entry forms, reports, dashboards, and notifications to streamline information management.

  • Understand change requests and be adaptable working on diverse client projects; from large-scale implementations through to minor releases and software upgrades.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to continually enhance our LIMS solutions.

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on complex LIMS, CRM or other similar software customization projects.

  • Expertise in configuring sample types, workflows, user roles, and instrument integrations.

  • Familiarity with data management best practices and regulatory compliance ideally within laboratory settings.

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with an ability to devise creative solutions to meet diverse client needs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

  • Writing T-SQL is nice to have but not required.
