An opportunity has arisen for an experienced ICP Chemist to join a well-established organisation in the Hampshire area.
The successful candidate will have a BSC or MSc in Chemistry or related disciplines and have at least 2 years’ experience of inorganic analytical methods, such IC, ICP-AE , ICP- OES and ICP-MS.
Duties include:
Running and maintaining of ICP-AES and ICP-MS instruments and troubleshooting.
Method development, analysing samples according SOP procedures and reporting to laboratory manager.
Candidate is expected to be involved in projects and able to write clear reports.
Desirable skills:
Experience in basic administration of database
Previous experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
The applicant will have good attention to detail and need to be conscientious, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to organise his time effectively.
