I'm currently looking for a Analytical Laboratory Manager to join a CRO based in the Oxfordshire region. As the Analytical Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for taking responsibility for the operational day-to-day management of the laboratory, as well as the following:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Analytical Laboratory Manager will be varied; however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Manage and lead the Operational Analytical teams, including their on-going development and training, including Study Directors and Analysts.
Implement and lead continuous improvement projects relating to all aspects of Laboratory operations, ensuring an organised laboratory that enables high performance workflow, as well as the ongoing development and maintenance of the lab.
Manage the progress of analytical work to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Work closely with Senior Management and Business Development teams to plan and implement a growth strategy for the laboratory.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Laboratory Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and history:
1. Relevant degree within an Analytical Chemistry discipline.
2. Proven industry experience working within a CRO within an Analytical position.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience of Chromatography techniques such as, LCMS/MS, GCMS/MS, HPLC
