Cranleigh STEM is looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager to join with a cutting-edge smart veterinary diagnostics company dedicated to improving the health and well-being of animals. You will be based at their facility in Reeuwijk, in The Netherlands on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process and managing customer service activities.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage inventory levels, demand forecasting, and order fulfilment to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously monitor and improve supply chain processes to drive operational excellence.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Oversee the transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimise routes, minimise shipping costs, and improve delivery performance.
- Track shipments, resolve any issues or delays, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and customs requirements.
Customer Service Management:
- Lead the customer service team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to improve overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and provide timely updates on order status and product information.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain and customer service functions.
- Develop and maintain regular reports on supply chain performance, customer service metrics, and trends.
- Analyse data and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or customer service roles, preferably in the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Familiarity with veterinary or healthcare products is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Salary: €70,000
