Production Scheduler – Life Sciences

CPL is currently working with a Global organisation in the Biotechnology/Pharma space who is looking to appoint a Product Scheduler who will play a key role in proactively maintaining & continuously improving the production schedule.

The Production Scheduler role involves maintaining and improving the production schedule while ensuring that it is accurate and communicated to all relevant departments for short-term execution of plans. The scheduler should ensure that all schedules respect existing labour and asset capacities and are achievable based on planned material availabilities. Additionally, they should be able to resolve scheduling conflicts with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

The key responsibilities of the Production Scheduler include creating, tracking, and maintaining short-term schedules to provide visibility to relevant departments, incorporating input from all relevant departments, optimizing schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource utilization, ensuring that all feedback regarding changes to existing plans is incorporated into schedules in a timely manner, maintaining detailed planning and scheduling parameters in the planning system, generating relevant KPIs and operational measures, and maintaining an accurate production schedule to provide data for the MRP process to meet production demands.

The key requirements for this role include:

· A bachelor's degree or similar in supply chain or comparable fields

· several years of experience in scheduling in pharma or biotech in a production environment

· CPIM certificate or comparable certificate being advantageous

· Good knowledge of SAP (MM, PP-PI)

· Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English
