CK Group are recruiting for a Materials Planner to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Runcorn on a contract basis initially for 6 months. Hybrid hours working to be confirmed.

Runcorn. This site specialises in difficult-to-make medicines which means the site is teeming with bright and ambitious professionals who are passionate about what they do. This site develops a range of sterile liquid products mainly for use in the treatment of respiratory conditions and also MS, for markets around the world.

Materials Planner Role:
- Accountable for the planning, ordering and control of incoming materials (e.g. raw materials, packaging).
- Drive inventory reduction/optimisation initiatives for all incoming materials in line with agreed targets for the site.
- Be the first point of contact on the site for all incoming material and supplier related issues.
- Ensure compliance in the operational ordering process vs local and global procedures and processes.
- To monitor and maintain accuracy of all supply critical data fields in ERP system.
Your Background:
- Previous experience within planning or procurement with knowledge of planning, procurement and control.
- Previous experience of managing an ERP / MRP system (SAP essential).
- Previous experience of working in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
- Good communicator, self-starter and team player with ability to set and deliver high performance standards.
- Highly numerate and strong ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans.
