CPL are working with a Leading Global professional services client that are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer - API Gateway Specialist to join the team.
?6 month contract (possible extension)
?Paying up to £493 per day
?Based in Swindon - 1 - 2 days hybrid
Requirements for the role are:
VMWare, Linux, Security best practices, and certificate management, Networking concepts and best practices, API Gateways and Stakeholder management;
?Working knowledge of on-prem infrastructure patterns and concepts
?Experience communicating with internal and external Business Stakeholders, technical peers and suppliers
?Experienced at tracking and managing platform/infrastructure end of service life, and promoting an “evergreening” approach
?Experience of working in a regulated environment
?Knowledge of consumption of APIs and use of API Gateways
“Nice to have” skills, knowledge and experience:
Open Banking knowledge and experience
Knowledge of containerisation platforms, such as Kubernetes/Openshift
Experience of working with and designing use of CI/CD and DevOps Tooling Experience of on-prem to public cloud migration activity
Experience of Apigee and Databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Additional role requirements are:
Terraform / Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Apigee / Apigee OPDK Platform / Apigee Platform Architecture
