CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Analytical Chemist, to join an API and speciality ingredients manufacturer at their facilities in Reading on a permanent basis.
About the client:
Our client is developing next generation bile acids for possible neurodegenerative and metabolic disease intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and optimisation of methods as well as the performance and co-ordination of forced degradation and method validation studies.
- Develop testing requirements appropriate for different phases of API development, regulatory approval, and commercialisation.
- Ad Hoc duties supporting GMP batch manufacturing and release activities along with analytical method transfers to cGMP contract manufacturing organisations.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Analytical, Bioanalytical, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Organic Chemistry
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industrial/ academic experience in an analytical laboratory performing testing and data analysis/interpretation preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience with in depth knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-Headspace, IC, KF, UV and Polrimetry.
- Need to be a team player, have good problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills.
