Medical Devices Consultant - Senior Mechanical Engineer - Cambridge

Due to the growth of a leading Medical Devices organisation, we are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, Medical Devices Inventor or Mechanical Design Consultant for a newly signed off role. The company is based in Cambridge and have some of the most impressive labs in the world, that they are currently improving further.

You will be working alongside other Medical Devices experts who have worked on Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electronics Design, Electronics Engineering, Physical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and other skills for the invention of Medical Technology. Du to this, working as part of a team will be essential.

This role will involve you leading projects, so experience as a consultant, project manager or another role that has involved working and meeting with third parties. You will also apply your skills in a hands-on manner, so being able to apply your Mechanical Engineering skills directly on new Medical Devices.

We need you to have had several years working on the Mechanical Design of Medical Devices. You could have worked with any 3D CAD tool, as we understand you'll be able to train on required tools when needed, however SolidWorks knowledge would be ideal.

Most people, in similar role, hold a degree in a Mechanical Engineering subject, however experience would be more important.

In regard to experience, we are open to people taking a step up-to a Senor Mechanical Engineer role, through to people who have worked as a Medical Devices Consultant or Senior Mechanical Engineer for a number of years already.
