Senior Supply Chain Project Manager
Macclesfield (Hybrid)
£450-£500 Per Day LTD/UMB Outside IR35
An exciting opportunity to join a well-established global pharmaceutical company, we are seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager on a 6 month initial contract
The Role:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of delivering in a global pharmaceutical environment through leading a cross-functional project team across external suppliers and internal functions.
Key accountabilities:
• Implement new and redesigned pharmaceutical supply chains globally through a cross-functional team. This will include activities such as in-sourcing, out-sourcing and technology transfer of some of the following; Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Drug Substances, Formulated product, Finished pack, Devices and Critical materials.
• Leading global programmes and projects across multiple organisations, geographies and business areas.
• Identifying and managing significant risks to project delivery and developing associated mitigation plans.
• You will engage with senior internal sponsors/stakeholders, external partners (typically CMOs) and be their single point of accountability.
• You will define goals and lead delivery performance to deliver projects or programmes to time, cost, and quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills:
• Supply Chain Project Management experience in either the [pharmaceutical or other heavily regulated industry
• Supply chain management experience and knowledge is highly valued.
• Experience of working with external suppliers – contract manufacturing organisations
• Experience of application of Lean and problem solving in a complex environment
