Job Title: Automation Scientist Team Leader
Type: Permanent
Salary: £33k - £42k
Location: Northeast, England
This role is a critical part of the business, where you will be able to use your expertise knowledge to be able to lead projects and help to solve projects complexity. You will be seen as an expert in your area of discipline and be able to provide technical leadership for the implementation of new automation and controls technology, as well as assisting in the development of existing technologies that are present.
Typical responsibilities/accountabilities:
- To work closely with the management team to guide and implement effective strategies.
- To keep up to date with research and techniques relevant to the automation and/or digital space as applied to support our key strategies
- To Support and contribute towards the planning of commercial or collaborative bids.
Essential Requirements:
- Possess experience leading teams as well delivering technical research.
- Will have experience either in automation and/or applied data science; or would be able to apply and extend their previous experiences into the automation and/or digital space.
- Experienced utilising Siemens PLCs including Siemens PLC S7
