Quality System Specialist

Cpl Life Sciences are partnering with a global pharmaceutical company that focusses on developing life changing vaccines recruiting for a Quality System Specialist. The main purpose of the Quality System Specialist is to provide QMS and Quality support within the Global Quality Systems and Compliance team.
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and manage the quality management system
- Manage the quality supplier management programme, oversee the global supplier qualification and assessment activities per established procedures, including initial on-boarding (including Quality Agreements), maintaining the supplier files and approved supplier list
- Support implementation and closure of supplier change notifications
- Manage deviations and support with quality issues, root cause analysis and correction actions of supplier quality issues, work directly with suppliers to address quality failures and issues
- Monitor supplier quality KPIs, performance, risk assessments relating to products, processes and systems
- Support Operations, Supply Chain, Supply Chain QA, Procurement and QA leaders with the qualification and management of suppliers and service providers to ensure they consistently meet GxP requirements
- Support with external audits, quality compliance audits and inspections
- Global travel 10%
Experience;
- 3 years experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry
- QMS experience
- Deviation/ investigation experience
- In depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for the manufacture of drugs
