Job Title: Scientist

Salary: £23,000 -£27,000 (depending on experience)

We are currently looking for a Scientist to join an exciting molecular diagnostic company based in Manchester. The Scientist will be responsible for the quality control, manufacturing and packing of qPCR assays, with ongoing training and development provided.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Performing QC on various molecular diagnostic kits.
- Manufacturing of IVD qPCR kits (including dispensing, labelling, capping and packing)
- Assisting in the shipment of kits around Europe and inventory control.
The successful Scientist will hold a BSc in a life science discipline (or relevant alternative experience) and will have practical experience of qPCR. The candidate will also be confident speaking to a range of different teams and will have a high attention to detail and organizational skills.
