Title: Operations Manager
Location: Tyne & Wear
Term: Permanent
Salary: £35,000-£50,000 (dependant on experience)
SRG are working with a PE backed Waste Management company based in Tyne & Wear. They are currently looking for a Operations Manager to join their technical department on a permanent basis, at their site in Tyne & Wear. This role will predominantly involve the overseeing of waste transfer operations to ensure compliance with EMS, improving operation processes and building up a department to support a growing company.
Benefits: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Waste management company. 40 hour working week: 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Role / Description
- Managing and implementing strategies to a growing workforce
- Maintaining records to ensure compliance with EMS
- Ensuring all activities are in compliance with the environmental legislation
- Responsible for maintaining operational performance in line with budget
Requirements
- WAMITAB Hazardous Waste Treatment is essential
- NEBOSH is advantageous
- Proven industrial experience of hazardous waste handling is desirable
- High attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently plan, organise and manage own workload
