CK Group are recruiting for a Development Support Technologist to join our client at their site based in Worcestershire on a full time, permanent basis for a competitive salary.

Our client is a specialist company who develop and manufacture flooring products. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leading company.
Location:
This role is located in Worcestershire. The site is easily commutable from Worcester, Evesham, Warwick, Cheltenham, Redditch, Birmingham and Coventry.
Development Support Technologist:
Our client is looking for a Development Support Technologist to support the development of the next generation of new products and improve existing products.
Your main duties will be to:
- To take full hands-on responsibility for the agreed in-house product testing within the laboratory.
- To coordinate external testing including physical, installation and analytical testing.
- To support the development of new products
- To report on the performance of new products including the monitoring of test installations.
- To run small scale development projects when required in accordance with procedure
- To undertake technical investigations into product failures and to work with suppliers to improve products.
- Identify opportunities for and deliver incremental improvements in products.
- To identify opportunities to improve existing products and reduce costs.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Recent graduate ideally with 1-2 years? experience
- Degree qualified in chemistry/materials science or related
- A levels including chemistry
- Understanding and knowledge of PVC and polymer technology would be highly beneficial
- Understanding of flooring and adhesives would be beneficial
Benefits:

Hours - Mon-Thurs 8.30-5.15, Friday 8.30-4
