Role: Test Manager
Duration: 5 Months
Location: Remote
Rate: £360 Per day PAYE
Job Description:
· Leads overall test efforts for small to mid-sized software product development or support projects or parts of large, more complex projects. Coordinates function testing to measure quality of functional (business) components and to ensure that the product meets business objectives. Authors testware, leads test resources, and ensures that required test deliverables have been completed. May also advise and mentor on quality assurance practices within the project team
· Contributes to test planning, scheduling, and managing test resources; leads formal test execution phases on larger projects.
· Defines test cases and creates integration and system test scripts and configuration test questionnaires from functional requirement documents.
· Executes functional tests and authors significant revisions to test materials as necessary through the dry run and official test phases. Maintains defect reports and updates reports following regression testing.
· Adheres to and advocates use of established quality methodology and escalates issues as appropriate.
