Chloe Merrill is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a leading adhesives manufacturer for the marine and construction industry.
The role is based at their site in Romsey, Hampshire. Working hours: 08:30 ? 16:30, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities;
To provide routine QC testing and technical support in a scientific laboratory environment.
- Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required.
- Produce reliable, precise data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results.
- Evaluate data, recognise and call attention to anomalous or unusual results.
- Order and control stocks of laboratory materials.
- Use QC test results to prepare Certificates of Analysis where required.
- Update and prepare Health & Safety documentation, particularly COSHH and Risk assessments.
Background;
- A-Level or equivalent in Chemistry.
- Experience working within a QC Laboratory would be desired.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
