QC Laboratory Analyst

£12.24 - £16.41 per hour PAYE
12 month contract
Cpl Life Sciences are partnering with a leading global Healthcare company in Speke, Liverpool recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst on a 12 month contract. The client is looking for an experienced QC laboratory analyst to join their Global Quality Control function in the Analytical Service Centre Laboratory at the Speke site in Liverpool.
Key responsibilities:
• Analytical testing to support method development activities
• Analytical testing to support method validation and transfers
• Maintaining laboratory records to current cGMP requirements
• Operating to current Environmental Health & Safety standards
• Maintaining the qualified and calibrated status of analytical equipment
• Using SAP to purchase lab consumables
• Using an electronic document management system to update SOPs and other controlled documents
Experience/Qualifications:
• BSc or equivalent in a relevant Chemistry discipline
• Practical analytical experience within a GMP environment
Essential Skills:
• Recent practical experience of HPLC and / or GC analysis within a GMP environment
• Recent practical experience of general wet chemical analysis within a GMP environment
• Ability to work both within a team and as an individual
• Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication
• Must be enthusiastic, adaptable and flexible
