Overview of the opportunity:
On a rapid growth trajectory, the business we are working with are in need of a number of Production Scientists to support the scale-up of their business which specialises in the creation of lyophilised reagents for the molecular science space.
Role profile:
* Preparation, manufacture and finishing of product ready for QC
* Labelling of devices
* Assembling products and components
* Dispensing of materials, booking in and labelling of products
* Stock check, re-stock and rotation
* Working to stringent health and safety protocols in a highly regulated environment
* Updating and maintaining an accurate QMS
* Preparing for products to be dispatched with correct regulatory certifications
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment free of contamination
* Dry cabinet packing and sealing
Your background:
* A degree in a relevant life science discipline
* Appreciation of the process of lyophilisation and context in creation of molecular assays
* Proven experience of creating biological and/or molecular assays using PCR/rt-PCR
* Demonstrable proficiency with authoring of technical documents within an R&D setting
* Exemplary communication skills, capable of working with minimal supervision
* Team-player, agile and flexible in your approach
