We are currently looking for a Senior Analytical Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Kent area. As the Senior Analytical Manager you will be responsible for
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Analytical Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Leading of all analytical activities needed to take new and current respiratory products to clinical studies and bringing them to commercialisation.
2. To be able to develop analytical methods, processes and formulations, plan and execute experiments and give relevant input to investigations and troubleshooting, to create scientific understanding.
3. Make sure that all analytical activities with potential impact on quality of clinical supplies or product approval are fit to cGMP requirements.
4. Work with other team leaders to add to business development and resource management to deliver the project portfolio when required within the approved and set budget.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Analytical Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Must have broad experience of solid-state chemistry and the use of routine techniques like thermal analysis, PXRD, SEM, BET surface area, and rheometry.
2. Proven industry experience in the development and approval of inhaled products alongside managerial experience.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with the application of analytical chemistry to product development, including practical experience of modern laboratory techniques for drug product testing and API characterization.
