CK Group are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a leading battery production company at their site based near Abingdon.
The Company:
Our client is an established and leading company, specialising in battery materials and the R&D into the next generation of lithium-ion batteries. This technology enables greater energy density and capacity to be achieved, providing lighter batteries with more power and longer lifetime.
Location:
This role is based on a Science and Technology Park near Abingdon, Oxfordshire with excellent transport links.
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts: 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am
Day shift rate: £12.48
Night shift rate: £14.98
The Role:
- Operation of the pilot plant equipment (training provided)
- Assembly and disassembly of plant equipment for either maintenance or troubleshooting (training provided)
- Monitoring of production processes and fault diagnosis
- Handling and preparations of raw materials and products
- Ensuring high quality standards are maintained throughout
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidance as well as promoting a safe culture
- Acting as members of site Emergency Response Team.
- Keeping high standards of housekeeping
- Chemical Processing
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- A graduate in a scientific or engineering background looking for their first role to gain experience
