HRIS Workday Director

Duration: 12 Month Contract – Potential to perm

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to 100k

Role Purpose: HR Global Process Owner will manage system configuration, design, and support activities related to all HR modules.

This role will be responsible for the oversight of HR processes and activities to ensure that process design and system configuration supports the priorities laid out by HR Leadership.

This role is seeking immediate start for a 12 month Fixed term contract with the offer of permanent employment after this period.

Key Accountabilities:

• Serving as the HR systems liaison with ops, tech, finance, and other stakeholders regarding process design, data integrity, and security

• Consulting on HR future technology requirements & design, including assessing future system functionality and actively overseeing the entire project life cycle: from requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment

• Ensuring that regional project and BAU support processes follow the defined prioritisation and governance structure

• Recommending BAU process improvements and innovative solutions leveraging cloud- HR platform

• Facilitating Release, Upgrade and Change Request activities

• Helping to drive platform optimisation / new functionality adoption through usage analysis

• Advising and supporting the development of HR reporting and toolsets

• Assisting with vendor relationship management Skills:

• Leadership abilities to include spearheading work streams, conducting meetings, presentations to HR and Business users and leaders, training sessions,

• Outstanding ability to translate complex subject matter into a concise narrative for a diverse audience.

• Demonstrable ability to design and develop Workday solutions & options to meet business needs.

• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail to meet deadlines

• Ability to effectively delegate work to team members

• Demonstratable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks

• Maintains an up-to-date awareness of trends, tools, technology, techniques and processes that affect testing and technology within the Life sciences domain

• A self-starter and able to work under own initiative and delegate tasks appropriate

• Ability to coach and develop team members and key contacts

Knowledge and Experience:

• 5+ years in Senior/Lead Workday Functional Analyst role preferably within a Global Organisation

• In-depth knowledge and experience design, configuration and testing processes for Workday HCM plus a combination of three or more of the following areas: - Recruitment, Absence, Learning, Performance, Talent, Compensation, TimeTracking.

• 5+ years in-depth system knowledge and demonstrated experience with process flow and configuration design.

• Experience implementing and optimizing Workday.

• Proven experience implementing or managing SaaS HCM systems, including Workday HCM platform
