Senior Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Specialist

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
? Develop and maintain a robust PV system which is fit for purpose and complies with current legislation in order to ensure effective data capture, enable data analysis, and compliance.
? Provide expert advice and guidance to internal colleagues on PV and product safety matters in order to facilitate business development, marketing and commercial activities.
? Ensure the achievement of compliance with codes (e.g., ABPI), SOPs and processes and statutory requirements in order to safeguard the business interests of Consilient Health.
? Oversee Safety Surveillance and risk management activities in order to evaluate the benefit/risk of medicines
? Ensure the set up and review of PV Agreements with suppliers and other 3rd party organisations and PV providers, with procedures in place to cover all PV activities with clear responsibilities established.
? Manages the relationship with the QPPV to ensure business requirements are fulfilled
? Delivery of a Medical Information (MI) service at all times in order to ensure compliance with industry standards and code of practice.
EXPERIENCE:
? Educated to degree level in a science degree or equivalent
? Significant previous experience within Pharmacovigilance; knowledge of regulatory environment and PV systems
? Strong organization and prioritisation skills; ability to multitask
? Excellent verbal communication skills/positive telephone manner
? Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
? Excellent attention to detail
? Ability to critically appraise scientific/clinical data
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; effectively applies technical knowledge to solve non-routine problems
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively
? Self-motivated to maintain high efficiency and productivity levels
? Good IT skills
