Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced life scientist to work within their product development team.
The successful candidate will have BSc, MSc or PhD in Biomedical, Biochemistry, immunology or related disciplines and have good working experience of cell culture
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and validate new commercial angiogenesis assays (new cell types, 3D assays, transductions) in line with corporate objectives. This will involve research and planning, scheduling and execution of the laboratory studies. All product development work will need to be conducted according to quality management system.
The applicant will be involved in data analysis, report writing and presentation of data to management .
Secondary tasks for this role will include the following:
- Planning and execution of contract service work.
- Assisting in the management of quality documentation.
- Conducting investigations required in response to technical enquiries, queries and complaints, resulting from manufactured products.
- Help in the manufacture of existing Cellworks and Cytomark products.
The candidate will be expected to:

Good communication skills, verbal and written are essential.
