Research Project Manager - Systems Integration - Cambridge

NC are working with a growing life sciences hardware manufacturer in Cambridge and helping them search for a technical-focused project manager to lead systems integration projects.

As well as leading multidisciplinary projects, this will be a vitally important role in establishing a project management function within the organisation.

The role will involve working closely with engineers and scientists and a variety of system integration challenges and will developing brand-new products and conducting innovative R&D programmes as well as increasing the performance and reliability of current products. You'll be working on one-off prototypes through beta prototypes and low volume production.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a solid background in project management within a research and development environment. This will ideally be coupled with a working understanding of quality management systems and some experience of people management. Although biotech/instrument experience is beneficial we are open to considering candidates from different industries.
