Clinical Donor Development and Recruitment Co-Ordinator

Location: West London

Salary: £25K

Job type: Permanent position (normal office hours)

An exciting opportunity has developed with an innovative, niche supplier of clinical reagents to researchers worldwide. Working from the companies new Donor Clinic in West London, this exciting opportunity would suit an individual who is looking to make a real difference in support of the development of tomorrow medicines and health interventions. This office based role will taking responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of new donor marketing communications and public relations activities to help grow the donor register and frequency of donations whilst building metrics to target specific donation requirements. Liaising with their US based Global marketing team and the European Senior Management Team; your day to day responsibilities will include a wide range marketing activities and customer engagement including (but not limited to):

Responsible for:

  • Developing the plan to increase donor recruitment and engagement resulting in an increase in donations
  • In consultation with the Global Marketing Team to develop and implement the communications plan for the UK (to include social media, print media and events amongst others)
  • Work with Donor Recruiter & Operations Manager to identify specific on-going donation needs/shortfalls.
  • Coordinate the production of printed and digital marketing material specific to the UK
  • Develop the social networking strategies the UK across all major channels
  • Be the "brand ambassador" for the business
  • Design and write email communication in the form of mail shots and newsletters
  • Seek feedback from donors and feedback internally to Senior Management
  • Identify, plan and host events and engagement meetings/clinics

About you:

Applications are welcomed from individuals who have a background in marketing, targeted customer engagement and/or marketing comms and ideally a background in Scientific/Health/Medical/Clinical environment. You will be a confident and outgoing individual who enjoys engaging with customers or clients and values the importance of providing the very highest level of service and quality to internal and external stakeholders. A pro-active attitude is essential and individuals must enjoy identifying new ways of working and improving existing processes whilst maintaining a close eye on performance metrics and the ability to map trends and identify opportunities for performance development and weaknesses within the donor engagement experience. Candidates will be well educated, ideally to degree level or with equivalent job based experience in a similar role. You will enjoy working in high pressure situations to hit deadlines and will enjoy providing a prompt and reactive service. You will be articulate and must be fluent in English (written/spoken) with excellent attention to detail.
