Senior Total Rewards Specialist

Primary Job Function

The Senior Specialist Total Rewards is responsible for providing proactive support to the to the Senior Manager Total Rewards in overseeing and administering employee compensation and benefit programs within the assigned regions. They will be the point of contact for country HR for benchmarking and will provide operational and analytical support for annual and ad-hoc reward activities as well as project participation / ownership.

Core Job Responsibilities

Performs job evaluations and recommends pay grades for new or revised jobs

Provides recommendations on various pay actions (promotions, bonus, Base Salary Adjustments, etc.) utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate

Provides analytical assistance as required to locally execute and administer global or Area led compensation programs

Conduct periodic audits of data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Support the annual year-end processes for Merit, Bonus and LTI

Ownership for the execution and delivery of ad-hoc Reward projects and activity as assigned by the Manager

Research, problem solve and respond on issues related to rewards programs.

May contribute to the global administration and communication of annual compensation programs (salary planning, short-term incentive plans)

Performs special compensation projects (acquisitions, re-organizations, job leveling, job hierarchies etc)

Position Accountability / Scope

Reports to:Senior Manager,Total Rewards.EU regions North and South.

Countries included:

Region North: Belgium; Netherlands; Luxembourg; Denmark; Norway; Sweden; Finland

Region South: Greece; Turkey; Portugal; Israel; Austria; Switzerland

Minimum Education

Bachelors Degree in Business or Human Resources is required. Equivalent Qualified by experience may be considered

Minimum Experience / Training Required

Position requires 3-5 years of relevant compensation and benefits experience, Pharma industry preferred.

Must be able to work independently, in a matrixial environment and work well on internal and external teams.

Experience of working with multiple countries and cultures
