The bioPharma sector is booming in the UK and this role exciting role will manage one of the most lucrative territories in the UK. Working from a home office (ideally in North West England, although other areas “on-patch” will be considered) the successful applicant will take over a high performing territory. You will be visiting customers to continue to supply instrumentation and consumables as well as prospecting for new business within the territory.

Key duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Prospect for new business and promote the full range of products (instrumentation, peripherals and consumables)
  • Develop a local strategy for the territory in-line with corporate aims and approaches
  • Weekly client visits with new prospects and existing clients
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads, quotes, tenders and sales to consistently hit monthly sales targets and KPI’s
  • Effectively manage leads, quotes and tenders through the sales cycle
  • Work closely with in-house technical specialists, utilising their support to develop sales opportunities and deal with technical questions as appropriate
  • Be aware of current market trends and feedback to Product Development team potential innovations and opportunities
  • Attend industry exhibitions/events on behalf of the organisation

  • Previous experience communicating with clients/customers

  • Able to demonstrate the skills required to succeed in sales and why you will be successful
  • Full UK driving license and happy to travel across the territory (including some stays away from home)
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
