Brand Manager, Germany

Germany   •  €40000 - €50000 per annum  •  Permanent, Full time

Search parameters:

  1. Education: Veterinary, Pharmaceutical, Natural Science or other equivalent university degree
  1. Previous experience in brand management for AH pharmaceuticals and OTC products in generic pharma.
(Candidates with non-generic (originator) pharma experience are not excluded; however, candidates with experience in generic pharma business are preferred.)
  1. Good knowledge of marketing AH generic pharmaceuticals.
  2. Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) and German 
  3. Driving license.
Additional information:
  1. The candidate should be already working as BM AH, but can vary in experience from a Junior Brand manager with a high potential to develop to a Senior Brand Manager position with considerable experience.
  2. The candidate should have some marketing knowledge in pharmaceutical generic business.
  3. The candidate should be able to work closely with the veterinarian sales team in the field.
  1. The candidate should be able to cooperate in the development of new products and in product launches.
  1. Work place is in Cuxhaven (80%), field work (20%).

  Major tasks and duties:
  1. Preparing medical and pharmaceutical information and marketing materials, lecturing, communicating with agencies (ideas, briefing, price-discussions, critical result monitoring).
  2. Exploring new business opportunities.
  3. Monitoring sales of products and of competitive products, market analyses.
  4. Suggesting marketing strategies.
  5. Performing marketing activities and providing medical information on products to veterinary professionals consistently with the company?s strategy and goals of the organisational unit.
  6. Achieving optimum economical effect and planned business goals.

Responsibilities and reporting:
  1. Responsible for product management of pharmaceuticals AH
  2. Directly reports to Marketing&Sales Manager 
  3. Reporting also to HQ Marketing Animal Health
  4. Direct superior to: /
  5. All solutions should be accepted/approved by the Marketing&Sales Manager AH and all major decisions adjusted with HQ level prior to implementation.
