Role: Business Integrator

Location: Basingstoke Hybrid - office 3 days per week

Duration: 12 month contract

Rate: 22.16 per hour

The function of the UK Hub IT team, overall, is primarily one of Account Management and Value Assurance. Work will be accomplished in alignment to the IT enterprise and dedicated application services goals.

This IT Business Integrator role is based in the UK and supports the UK Hub group of countries, across Lillys Speciality, Oncology and Diabetes Business Units. Success requires that the Business Integrator be knowledgeable about business unit strategies, priorities, IT processes, and is able to link IT opportunities and issues with business needs.

The affiliates in-scope of this role include all UK Hub Countries: UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland & Iceland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities where technology can be introduced or enhanced to drive better outcomes.
  • Represent existing and potential IT Capabilities, influencing local business strategy and challenge where appropriate.
  • Align solutions that balance affiliate and corporate goals.
  • Lead projects by gathering, refining, prioritising requirements and coordinating delivery.
  • Collaborate with 3rdparty vendors on solution development and delivery.
  • Effectively assess and communicate the value of contrasting IT solutions.
  • Appropriately advocate change in the organisation through new ways of working be it, adoption of new technology process improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Required Experience:

  • Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Experience leveraging standard solutions to deliver maximum value.
  • Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience leveraging micro-services such as Contentful, Heroku & Force.com.
  • Experience of project execution with technology and capabilities to support a multichannel, commercial organisation such as Email, Web Data & Analytics and ePeer-to-Peer.
  • Experience with an Agile approach to project delivery and its supporting technologies.
  • Strategic account management skills: research, listening, effective communication and presentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.

Desirable Skills

  • Applied experience developing and selling business cases
  • Applied experience with sales and marketing solutions
  • Knowledge of multiple languages of supported affiliates.
  • Experience in strategy development & business planning process.
  • Ability to leverage external best practice.
  • Experience working in an alliance relationship
  • Product launch support experience
  • Familiarity with the commercial business, the service value chain and the marketing processes.
