Cpl Life Sciences are currently partnering with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies recruiting for an experienced Analytical Chemist. The main purpose of the Analytical Chemist is to release the testing of raw materials, isolated intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
Key responsibilities;
- Working within a GMP environment to release testing of raw materials and APIs
- Perform laboratory testing, data review and release of samples for further testing
- Provide analytical support to projects in support of API manufacturing by testing in process control samples, raw materials, isolated intermediates and finished goods API
- Analysis of development compounds
- Escalate any risks to senior analysts
- Maintain written records of experimental work
Experience;
- Degree in chemistry or a related subject
- Previous laboratory experience
- GMP experience within pharmaceutical
- An understanding of compound characterisations, spectroscopy and chromatography
