A global pharmaceutical organization specializing in Oncology, Immunology and Infectious Disease is now in need of a Medical Monitor to come on board their growing teams. This is an amazing opportunity for a medic looking to break into industry from the NHS.
Essential skills and experience required: -
Licensed by a health authority to prescribe medicines
12 months experience of working in a patient care setting
Experience of critically evaluating medical/scientific information
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the design, development and execution of clinical programs and studies
Desirable skills and experiences: -
Medical degree
Knowledge of statistics.
Experience in infectious diseases or infection control
Experience with investigational clinical trials is preferred.
The ideal medical monitor will have the ability to prescribe medication to patients with no supervision required. The successful medical monitor would not need to have any pharmaceutical experience; although this would be advantageous.
