Learning and Performance Manager UK R&D

What you will do

In this vital role you will work in close collaboration with our stakeholders in R&D, other functional Global Learning & Performance teams and Global Learning Solutions and act as a consultant to R&D stakeholders to address the organisations training needs.

Your tasks and deliverables will include the following:

Partner closely with stakeholders in R&D to identify training needs

Consult with stakeholders applying performance consulting (PC) methods to tailor learning solutions to effectively change behaviors

Partner with regional / global Learning & Performance professionals to align training solutions across regions and functions

Lead / support the development, design and evaluation of learning solutions, such as (virtual) instructor led courses, e-learnings, performance support tools, and workshops using new technologies and learning approaches on-time per plan

Support the Training Need Analysis (following performance consultation (PC))

Liaise with Global Learning Services to apply appropriate learning models, methods, and techniques

Lead or contribute to training related projects as per the project charter

Support learning program logistics, as needed


What we expect of you

Degree educated, BA/BS/BSc or RN

Proven experience in Learning & Performance / Training, development of learning solutions considering adult learning principles and instructional design obtained in a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

Advanced computer skills (Office programs, general applications as Internet, Sharepoint etc)

Negotiation skills coupled with analytical and strategic thinking skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present formally within area of expertise to a diverse set of audiences

Good organizational skills handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects in tandem

Self-driven and motivated to learn about new topic areas, processes, tools & system to be able to have a meaningful conversations with stakeholders

Delivery focused & results oriented

Team player, self-starter, persistent, tactful, and persuasive

Cultural diversity and DI&B awareness

Experience in working in a matrix and remote environment

Language skills: English, Spanish and/or Portuguese (fluent verbally and in writing)
