Technical Sales Specialist, BioPharma

Territory: South UK (but concentrated around Ox-Camb-London)

Salary: £50-60K pa

Bonus: 30-40% (uncapped)

Car allowance: £7K pa

Are you an established Life Science Sales Specialist looking to join an organisation with the potential to add significant value to the business? Our client is looking for an ambitious consultative sales professional to sell a solution based to customers within the bioPharma/biotech, drug development and vaccine/biologics sector.

Covering the highly lucrative South of England & S Wales territory you’ll work with existing customers as well as identifying new businesses to grow sales across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Works with customer stakeholders across all relevant disciplines to uncover potential opportunities and sell solutions to meet needs
  • Regular travel throughout the territory in addition to video meetings
  • Provide product demonstrations as appropriate to help support the sales process
  • Works with internal colleagues across a range of functions such as technical support, finance, logistics, customer support
  • Monitor customer satisfaction to ensure the provision of a consistently high level of service and support
  • Keep abreast of competitor activities and industry trends; feeding back internally

About you:

  • This role would suit applicants with:
  • Proven Life Science sales experience
  • Experience selling in to the bioPharma/biotech sector (preferred)
  • Ambition and an eagerness to excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solutions sales skills
  • UK driving license
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory (c3 days per week)
  • Fluent in English
