R&D Project Leader

R&D Project Leader required, based in East Lincolnshire. Requiring a degree Chemistry or similar, a keen interest in Research & Development (R&D). Recent graduates in Materials Science or Microbiology will also be considered. Driving license preferred.

SRG are working with a company specialising in the development and manufacture of a range of specialised chemicals and materials including detergents, disinfectants, and garments. Due to recent expansion, they are looking to add a R&D Project Leader to their technical team. The role will involve leading research and development projects of both new and existing products across a number of product ranges at an exciting time for the business. Recent graduates of Chemistry (or similar) will be considered for this role, as well as graduates of Biology, Microbiology and Materials Science.

Relocation package of up to £2500, potential annual bonus, the potential to work from home (up to 3 days a week) and company pension scheme. Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Role / Description

  • Support in the Research & Development (R&D) of new and existing products
  • Testing the prototypes of new products
  • Support in the implementation of new technologies into new products
  • Maintain all R&D systems and records in relation to products, research projects and project management documentation
  • Support in continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry (or similar), degrees in Materials Science, Microbiology and Biology also considered
  • Driving license and own car is preferred but not essential
  • Able to work independently on multiple projects and propose solutions to problems
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and adaptability to changing priorities
