Legal Council required for global firm
A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly skilled Legal Council to support the General Counsel as a key member of the legal team.
Upon joining, the Legal Council will be working with various stakeholders throughout the business to provide sound commercial and legal advice across a wide variety of matters affecting the business.
As a Legal Council, you will identify and manage commercial and legal risks and work for the creation and delivery of sound commercial proposals that meet corporate goals and protect the Company’s risk/liability levels, reputation and financial interests.
In terms of skills, You will ensure that the employees, company and agencies operates within the companies compliance and ethically. Provide legal support within the UK & Ireland. Build legal compliance and carry out training sessions, act as a guardian and contribute to resource planning across the business. Identify risks and opportunities derived from changes in legislation. Appropriately manage legal risk (to take into account laws and regulations relating (but not limited) to the pharmaceutical industry, employment, commercial, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, employment law, competition law, marketing and advertising, anti-bribery law, litigation and disputes)
This Legal Council position will require to be a qualified lawyer, with In house / practice or Life Science experience, with a want to learn more about medical devices would be ideal.
This Legal council role is hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office. This Legal Council role offers a car allowance and a competitive bonus package.
