Senior Health Economist

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Health Economist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Tadworth, Surrey on a contract basis for 6 months.

Per Hour £71.97 p/h PAYE or £80.66 p/h UMB

Tadworth. This is the UK Commercial HQ. The site has over 320 acres with around 800 employees, who work across the biopharmaceutical and consumer businesses or in one of the business support functions (such as finance or HR). The site also serves as a hub for some of the company?s European business operations.

Senior Health Economist Role:

  • Play a leading role in developing the health economic (HE) skills of the HTA team, in signing-off HTA submissions and in acting as a thought-leader in HE methodology and policy
  • Direct & implement efficient processes for HE modelling and related skills, standards, techniques and tools required for optimal HTA strategy and submission
  • Partner with cross-functional colleagues (within and outside H&V) to guide HTA team on the implementation of comprehensive health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) evidence generation strategies to support the value proposition of early pipeline and pre-launch assets.
  • Share accountability with head of H&V for sign-off of HTA submissions
  • Oversee the development and delivery of HEOR plans and provide clear guidance for the HTA team to maximise business impact across the portfolio

Your Background:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Health Economics
  • Demonstrable experience in all aspects of HTA submissions to NICE, SMC & AWMSG
  • Experience of designing, building and adapting health economics models
  • Experience of programming and software such as VBA, SAS, R, conducting evidence generation (SLRs, NMAs)
  • Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to manage own time and others time to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
