A market leading chemical manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a QC Laboratory Technician to join its team on a permanent basis, at their site in Reading. As a QC Laboratory Technician you will be working within the QC department carrying out testing of products using standard test methodology
Duties:
- Issue out of specification corrections to production personnel.
- Complete all necessary documentation to support the company's quality assurance system.
- Work with the Quality & Packaging Engineer to ensure all aspects of product packaging meet the company specifications.
- Assist the R&D department with customer complaint investigations
QC Technician requirements
- BSc / BEng level qualification in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Ideally bring some industrial experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment - but this is not an essential.
- Interested in 'hands-on' work responsibilities and comfortable operating in a manufacturing environment.
- Independent worker with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments.
£24k-£28k salary p/a + pension + bonus - Standard working hours of 0800-16.00 Mon-Fri
