Cpl Life Sciences are exclusively partnered with a leading and rapidly expanding, Clinical Development consultancy business who are seeking experienced Pharmaceutical Physicians to join their impressive team. The business support across the full-range of clinical development activities from translational medicine to medical affairs, worldwide and have partnered with over 250 companies from top 50 pharma to small/medium-sized biotechs across a wide range of therapy areas.

These roles are a great opportunity to work on the latest and greatest developments across industry and build a strong portfolio of projects. The business are in a high growth phase with multiple new leadership roles being created allowing for strong development opportunities.

The purpose of these roles will be to lead teams on global projects at various stages of translational and clinical development. Responsibilities include design and implementation of clinical study protocols, providing medical input into clinical development plans and medical support for liaison with FDA, EMA and other national agencies.

This particular position is perfect for an established Pharmaceutical Physician who has seasoned experience within the Oncology space and is looking to work across a range of exciting and dynamic projects whilst remaining part of a close-knit team of like-minded individuals.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and implementation of clinical study protocols

-Utilise medical expertise to prepare clinical development plans

-Analyse and interpret clinical data in both ongoing and completed studies and act as a medical monitor where needed

-Understand and assess requirements for due diligence

-Plan and lead investigator meetings, advisory boards and other scientific committees

-Provide medical support for development of briefing documents for communications with the FDA, EMA and other national agencies

-Provide medical support for sections in license applications

-Provide medical support for communications and publications

Key Requirements

>7 years experience within Clinical Development in either big pharma, biotech or CRO - essential

Extensive experience within Oncology - essential

GMC-registered physician essential

Strong network within Oncology therapy area desirable

Experience leading teams within Clinical Development desirable
