CK Group are recruiting for a Test Technician to join a corrosion consultancy provider at their site based in Manchester on a permanent basis.

Our client is a leading provider of materials testing to industries worldwide, that delivers innovative and bespoke Testing and Assurance services.
Location:
This role is located in Trafford Park in Manchester.
Your main duties will be:
- Preparation, maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and pressure vessels.
- Performing corrosion based testing.
- Metallographic preparation of samples for examination post test including the microscopy and photography of samples.
- Preparation of metallic & non-metallic samples (such as cutting, drilling & polishing).
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- An HNC level education in engineering or STEM subject.
- Laboratory experience is essential.
- Experience working with high temperature, high pressure autoclaves or pressure vessels and systems.
- Practical knowledge of Swagelok type fittings would be highly desirable.
