The Company

A cutting edge medical devices company are looking for an Assay Reagent Scientist to join their busy R&D team to work on the development of reagents for their IVD products. The company work on diagnostic assays and launched their product into the market last year. They are looking to continue their growth into the healthcare market providing industry-leading products.

The Job

The successful Assay Reagent Scientist will work within the R&D team to develop reagents for use in a variety of IVD assays. This will involve a range of duties, including;

  • Working on a range of projects to drive the development of assay reagents for a variety of IVD assays
  • Planning and performing experiments to drive progress in projects
  • Work on the development of antibody coated microparticles and fluorophore labelled conjugates
  • Assess the performance of reagents using a variety of methods
  • Ensure quality standards are met and SOPs and documents are updated

Your Experience

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience;

  • Experience working with antibody conjugation
  • A BSc or above in a relevant Science subject
  • Experience within an industrial lab

It would be an advantage, but is not essential for you to have;

  • Experience with nanoparticles
  • Experience with techniques including flow cytometry, HPLC or FPLC
  • Experience within the IVD industry
