The Role
The successful Manufacturing Team Leader will work alongside a team that manufactures reagents for assays. Your duties will include;
- Management and development of the shift team, monitoring their performance and daily activities
- Ensure that production targets are met whilst maintaining high quality standards
- Implement new processes and testing methods into the department
- Work on validation activities of the new processes and equipment
- Assessment and improvement of batch performance
Your Experience
The successful individual will have the following experience:
- Line management/supervision experience
- Proven experience of working in a GLP manufacturing lab environment
- Expertise working within a commercial immunoassay environment
- Validation experience
- A BSc or above in a relevant scientific discipline
It would be an advantage but is not essential for you to have experience with:
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualifications
- Experience with particle-based immunoassays
