The Company

A leading and innovative medical device company are looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join their expanding team. Last year they launched their product and are looking to continue their development to bring their industry-leading products to the healthcare market and increase their range of products.

The Role

The successful Manufacturing Team Leader will work alongside a team that manufactures reagents for assays. Your duties will include;

  • Management and development of the shift team, monitoring their performance and daily activities
  • Ensure that production targets are met whilst maintaining high quality standards
  • Implement new processes and testing methods into the department
  • Work on validation activities of the new processes and equipment
  • Assessment and improvement of batch performance

Your Experience

The successful individual will have the following experience:

  • Line management/supervision experience
  • Proven experience of working in a GLP manufacturing lab environment
  • Expertise working within a commercial immunoassay environment
  • Validation experience
  • A BSc or above in a relevant scientific discipline

It would be an advantage but is not essential for you to have experience with:

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualifications
  • Experience with particle-based immunoassays
